Job Summary
Senior Electrical Engineer responsible for mentoring and advising less experienced designers and engineers, designing advanced building systems, preparing design documents, and performing engineering calculations in coordination with project teams. Provides training and leadership, may include direct supervision, and oversees project and design efforts from concept to completion to ensure deliverables meet scope, schedule, cost, and quality. Involves business development, corporate operations, risk management, and development of tools, resources, and company practices. Enforces design and engineering standards, conducts regular project-quality reviews, and may perform final project evaluations. Uses Autodesk Revit and BIM 360 with excellent design knowledge and ability in these platforms.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering
- 7+ years of Electrical Design Experience
- Excellent knowledge of Revit / BIM360 and Bluebeam Studio Software
- Knowledge of NEC and building codes
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Mentoring and leadership experience
- Ability to design advanced building systems and prepare design documents
- Experience in engineering calculations and overseeing project quality
- Proficiency with ElumTools, Visual, or AGI software or equivalents
- Willingness to partake in business development and risk management activities
- PE license preferred
