Job Summary
Provide electrical design leadership on single and multi-disciplinary projects across sectors including Transport, Defence, Data Centres, Commercial, and Health. Lead small to medium-sized engineering design packages within larger programmes, ensuring best practice delivery while managing costs and timelines. Maintain clear communication with external clients, authorities, and internal colleagues to ensure alignment and successful project outcomes. Build long-term client relationships, identify new business opportunities, and contribute to the development of the Building Services team. Requires a Bachelor of Electrical Engineering, 7–10+ years of Australian industry experience, and registration on the National Engineering Register.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor of Electrical Engineering
- 7–10+ years of industry experience delivering Australian building services projects, preferably within a consulting environment
- Demonstrated experience successfully managing and delivering multiple concurrent projects across a range of scales and sectors
- Strong client relationship management, stakeholder engagement, and project management skills
- Sound working knowledge of relevant Australian Standards and Codes, including AS/NZS 3000, NCC, and associated building services standards
- Excellent technical design, coordination, and problem-solving capabilities across electrical building services systems
- Eligible for, or currently registered on, the National Engineering Register (NER) and/or working towards Chartered Professional Engineer (CPEng) status
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively liaise with clients, multidisciplinary teams, contractors, and authorities
