Job Summary
Senior Electrical Engineer on Arcadis’ Resilience Water team in the Northeast. Provides technical and design consulting services for water/wastewater facilities with a focus on electrical power distribution, electrical controls, lighting, fire alarm, access control, and communications to support the Water Division. Responsibilities include establishing design criteria, performing design calculations, developing one-line diagrams, control schematics, plans and specifications; performing construction-phase engineering services including reviewing equipment submittals, shop drawings, and responding to contractor RFIs; conducting field inspections and assisting with construction, identifying deviations from design and monitoring safety compliance; possible travel to support project needs; mentoring junior/staff electrical engineers. Required qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (or related discipline), 10 years of relevant experience, and a Registered Professional Engineer (PE).
