Job Summary
Senior Designer/Draftsperson with a focus on electrical and instrumentation design at Tronox's Australind Pigment Plant. Responsible for managing the design, development and maintenance of asset documentation for electrical and instrumentation systems on site; lead the electrical design process to deliver high quality master documents and calculations across project phases; review designs for compliance with standards; collaborate with clients and multidisciplinary stakeholders to support continuous improvement; provide technical guidance and support across procurement, construction and commissioning; proficient in CAD software (AutoCAD) and 3D modelling, with knowledge of Australian standards and HV/LV earthing design; SAP exposure advantageous; work within a 38-hour week on a 9-day fortnight with Friday off.
Required Qualifications
- Certificate IV or Diploma in Engineering Drafting
- Demonstrated experience in design/plant drafting (electrical & instrumentation design and P&ID deliverables)
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and 3D modelling viewers
- Strong knowledge of Australian standards
- Experience with HV/LV and earthing design drawings (desirable)
- Exposure to SAP (advantageous)
- Strong attention to detail and interpersonal skills
- Proactive and collaborative approach to multidisciplinary teams
