Job Summary
Design industrial electrical systems and process installations, developing technical concepts for medium and low-voltage energy distribution networks. Prepare technical documentation, specifications, and requirements for electrical systems while selecting and specifying equipment such as MV/LV switchgear, transformers, MCCs, and drives. Collaborate with automation, mechanics, and process teams on plant-level projects, participating in power demand analysis and supporting calculations. Work with suppliers to evaluate offers and coordinate technical aspects, ensuring project reviews meet client and regulatory standards. Assist with project commissioning, FAT/SAT tests, and identifying optimization opportunities for electrical systems and electrification processes.
Required Qualifications
- Higher technical education in the field of electricity, electrical engineering, automation, or related fields
- Minimum 3 years of experience in designing or implementing electrical installations for industry
- Experience with medium and low voltage (MV/LV) energy distribution systems
- Knowledge of electrical equipment selection, such as MV/LV switchgear, transformers, MCC, drives, and power supply systems
- Ability to read and create technical documentation and project specifications
- Knowledge of international standards and norms used in electrical projects (e.g., IEC)
- Fluent communication in the English language in speech and writing
- Ability to work independently while effectively collaborating in interdisciplinary project teams
- Analytical approach and ability to solve technical problems
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with projects in the mining, metallurgical, process, or heavy industry sectors
- Experience with projects in the field of industrial process electrification or energy transformation
- Knowledge of network analysis tools such as ETAP, DIgSILENT PowerFactory, SKM, or Caneco
- Experience working with documentation prepared in Eplan or AutoCAD
- Experience in protection and coordination of safeguards
- Participation in FAT/SAT tests and industrial installation commissioning
- Readiness for occasional business trips related to implemented projects
