Job Summary
Senior Electrical Engineer responsible for end-to-end electrical design on large-scale infrastructure projects, including LV distribution, main switchboards, lighting, emergency lighting, communications, security, fire detection, cable containment, earthing and lightning protection. Performs or supports medium voltage design for 11kV, 22kV and 33kV systems, mentors an overseas design team, coordinates with project managers to align designs with schedules and budgets, and participates in client meetings and design reviews to communicate technical information clearly. The role emphasizes hands-on technical leadership, design decision accountability, and collaboration across diverse teams on complex, high-profile projects across infrastructure, industrial, utilities and renewables.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or a related field
- Professional Engineer (PE) license or equivalent certification is preferred
- Minimum of 6+ years of experience in LV design
- Experience in leading and managing a design team
- Strong understanding of relevant standards and regulations
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
