Job Summary
Lead design of electrical schematics for custom dehumidification systems; develop ladder logic diagrams and PLC systems (Carel and DirectLOGIC; familiarity with Allen Bradley and Siemens PLCs); ensure NEC/UL compliance; proficient use of AutoCAD and SolidWorks Electrical; specify components (motors, breakers, relays, contactors, VFDs, controllers) and provide lists to purchasing; drive R&D and NPD initiatives; author production procedures and manufacturing standards; identify opportunities for continuous improvement and lead related action plans; provide technical support to internal teams, field service technicians, and customers; occasional travel to customer sites.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from an accredited institution
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in an electrical engineering role
- Proficient in creating electrical drawings and schematics
- Strong understanding of HVAC or refrigeration systems
- Excellent technical writing and documentation skills
- Strong analytical and critical thinking abilities
- Self-starter with high attention to detail and a commitment to quality
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision in a team-driven environment
