Job Summary
Senior Electrical Construction Inspector needed to support MDTA projects in Baltimore and Harford counties, MD. Responsibilities include daily field inspections of electrical systems, roadway lighting, communications infrastructure and variable message signage; ensure conformance to codes, standards and TTC safety requirements; monitor quality, performance and documentation; coordinate with electrical contractors and other inspectors; manage punch lists, testing, commissioning, RFIs, and change orders; produce progress reports and turnover documentation; provide on-the-job training and mentor staff; ensure OSHA safety compliance on active highway construction sites.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED + 8 years related experience or demonstrated equivalency
- U.S. Citizenship is required
- Experience on transportation-related projects (roadways, bridges, rail, tunnels)
