Job Summary
Lead design efforts for water/wastewater electrical power distribution and automation projects, creating site plans, single-line diagrams, P&IDs, and control panel schematics. Conduct constructability reviews of design documents and coordinate with contractors and integrators to ensure design intent is met during construction. Provide quality and coordination reviews for shop drawings and O&M submittals, while reviewing instrumentation and control system packages. Mentor junior engineers and update design standards to maintain compliance with codes and industry practices. Visit client sites to investigate field conditions and collaborate with inspectors to develop practical, code-compliant solutions.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering or Electrical Engineering Technology from an ABET accredited program
- 7+ years of experience as an Electrical/Controls Design Engineer
- Advanced Computer Skills, Literacy, & Proficiency
- Must possess effective oral, written, and digital communication skills
- Ability to travel throughout Concentric Integration's service area (Approximately 10% travel to Houston area clients)
- Must be able to easily interact with other design staff and with consulting engineers
- Must possess effective organizational skills for productive task and time management
- Must be able to identify and solve problems in a timely manner
Desired Qualifications
- AutoCAD experience preferred
- Visio experience a plus
- P.E. license is preferred
