Job Summary

Administer the site Radiation Safety Program with primary focus on Ohio requirements, license conditions, and company standards. Implement radiation safety policies for the safe use, storage, handling, and disposal of radioactive materials while identifying, documenting, and monitoring hazards, exposure concerns, and contamination risks. Maintain radiation safety records, including inventories, use logs, surveys, leak tests, and dosimetry data to support audits and regulatory reporting. Facilitate hazard risk assessments, job safety analyses, and Management of Change reviews while responding to EHS inquiries, incidents, and Good Saves. Compile and analyze EHS data to support compliance reporting, waste reduction initiatives, and continuous improvement projects. Participate on the Chemical Spill Response Team and lead EHS committees for ergonomics, sustainability, and biosafety. Plan employee engagement activities such as Safety Month and hazardous waste collection days.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Environmental Health and Safety, Occupational Safety, Radiological Technology, Engineering, or a related field
  • Bachelor's Degree must include a course in Ionizing Radiation
  • Prior EHS, radiation safety, environmental compliance, workplace safety, laboratory, manufacturing, or related experience preferred
