Job Summary

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree (Preferably in Environmental Science; Occupational Health and Safety; Engineering; or a related field)
- 5-8 years of experience successfully managing EHS activities in a manufacturing/industrial setting
- OSHA 30-Hour Training
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to conduct thorough investigations and develop effective solutions
- Basic familiarity with ISO 9001:2015 quality management system requirements
- Proven experience with OSHA and EPA regulations
- Working knowledge of hazardous chemical properties; safe handling; and storage
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Familiarity with a broad range of skills/tools to analyze problems and determine root causes
- Strong; collaborative problem-solving skills
- Mastery of MS-Office software tools
Desired Qualifications
- ASP or CSP certification
- Experience working with a safety or environmental management system (e.g. - ISO 14001; ISO 45001)
- Experience with aspects of equipment used in biopharmaceutical production
- Familiarity with ETQ QMS software
- Prior experience safely operating machinery such as forklift; overhead crane; general power tools
- Experience with laboratory safety requirements and procedures
