Job Summary
Manage and guide the Pinkerton EHS team in India while supporting the Corporate EHS Lead with operational management of EHS programs. Conduct regular EHS Management System audits to review the RE&F team's work and lead internal audits for sites based on standards like ISO 14001, ISO 45001, and OHSAS 18001. Help implement the global Corp EHS management system in India, integrate localized environmental health safety guidelines, and conduct hazard identification and risk assessment trainings for stakeholders. Ensure incidents are reported, investigated, and that corrective actions are completed, while analyzing EHS data and communicating policy implementation to employees and vendors. Coordinate with APAC Corporate EHS teams and relevant stakeholders on emergency responses.
Required Qualifications
- Sc./B Tech/Equivalent Degree
- exposure to global EHS standard
- ISO 14001 & OHSAS 18001 implementation experience as management representative
- completed lead/internal auditor course on ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001
- Proven track record working and managing service sites
- minimum 10-15 years in full fledged EHS role
- Strong leadership and influencing skills
- An effective communicator with strong coordinating skills with cross-functional groups
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple issues with competing priorities
- Practical experience in risk elimination, leading audits
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- physical and mental capacity to effectively perform all essential functions
- Regular computer usage
- Occasional reaching and lifting of small objects and operating office equipment
- Frequent sitting, standing, and/or walking
- Travel, as required
