Job Summary
Senior EHS Manager responsible for leadership of EHS on a large-scale electrical construction project. Provides governance to ensure full compliance with corporate EHS standards, regulatory requirements, and client safety expectations within a mission-critical data center environment. Primary EHS interface with client/owner representatives, leading the development and implementation of project-wide safety strategy, performance expectations, and continuous improvement. Manages EHS team execution across all project areas, drives safe execution of high-risk activities (electrical work, LOTO, crane operations, confined space), leads incident investigations, safety audits, and permits, and partners with construction leadership and QA/QC to align safety with project sequencing. Maintains safety performance metrics and fosters a proactive safety culture through leadership engagement and accountability.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety, Environmental Science, Construction Management, or related field (preferred)
- 10+ years of experience in construction EHS
- OSHA 30-Hour Construction (required)
- First Aid/CPR (required)
- Proven experience leading incident investigations, audits, and safety program implementation
- Strong knowledge of OSHA 29 CFR 1926 and NFPA 70E
- Experience leading electrical contractor safety programs on large-scale projects
- Certification: CHST, CSP, or ASP (preferred)
- NFPA 70E Electrical Safety training
