Job Summary
Senior / EHS Engineer in Singapore providing guidance to employees and management on EH&S policy implementation, driving regulatory compliance, partnering with line organizations to implement EH&S programs, leading a safe workplace, conducting risk assessments and recommending risk controls, coordinating emergency preparedness activities (training, drills, exercises), and supporting EH&S audits and continuous improvement in an industrial manufacturing environment. Requires a Bachelor's degree in EH&S or related field, 5–7 years of experience, and credentials as MOM-registered WSHO and SCDF-registered FSM; expected to possess ISO 45001/ISO 14001 familiarity and strong communication and stakeholder management skills for independent work and coaching junior staff.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Health & Safety, Engineering, or a related discipline
- Minimum 5–7 years of relevant EH&S experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment
- Registered Workplace Safety and Health Officer (WSHO) with Ministry of Manpower (MOM)
- Registered Fire Safety Manager (FSM) with Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF)
- Strong knowledge of local regulatory requirements and EH&S compliance standards
