Job Summary
Senior Education Advisor working with tumuaki, senior school leaders, and Boards of Trustees to strengthen educational performance; works with the Ministry of Education's regional team to use evidence and data on student achievement and to design and implement projects with schools to improve outcomes; supports equity and excellence for ākonga in Aotearoa; requires strong analytical skills, ability to develop relationships across the ministry and with external partners, knowledge of NZ education systems and relevant legislation, and understanding of te reo Māori and tikanga; responsibilities include contributing to national priorities (NELP, Ka Hikitia, Action Plan for Pacific Education, and Success for All) and ensuring dissemination of resources to schools; must have a current full driver's licence and demonstrate alignment with Public Service Standards of Integrity and Conduct.
Required Qualifications
- A relevant tertiary qualification or equivalent level of practical experience
- A current full drivers licence
