Job Summary
Senior Editorial Project Analyst focused on optimizing editorial workflows, data integrity, and system architecture within Smartsheet to support the full editorial development cycle for Savvas’ K-12 print and digital product experiences. Role emphasizes designing workflows and data structures for data integrity, scalable reporting and tracking tools, onboarding teams/vendors to Savvas tools, cross-functional collaboration with Product Development and Production, and exploring AI-driven automation (e.g., metadata tagging, transcription) to enhance efficiency and content discoverability. Term of project position for one year with responsibilities across editorial development, process evangelism, and strategic initiatives leveraging emerging technologies.
Required Qualifications
- BA in Project Management, Business Management, Computer Science, Logistics, Education, or a related field
- Minimum 5 years of experience in project management, operations, or strategy within a high-volume, fast-paced, and evolving environment; publishing or educational technology experience is an asset
- Proven ability to manage complex projects through the full project lifecycle
- Strong organizational, time-management, and prioritization skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
- Experience coordinating schedules, resources, and deliverables across multiple teams
- Demonstrated ability to identify project risks and develop mitigation strategies
- Experience developing, documenting, and improving processes to support efficient planning, scheduling, and tracking
- Understanding of AI-enabled capabilities and how they can improve operational efficiency and content discoverability
- Smartsheet certification, PMP certification, or other process/project management credentials (assets)
