Job Summary
Contribute critically to journal content selection by assessing de novo submissions and manuscript transfers, while identifying experts to act as peer reviewers. Write editorials, commission content to build the journal's regional profile, and handle special project content as necessary. Develop and maintain links with the regional health community to solicit high-quality research, attend conferences to identify suitable topics and authors, and promote the journal through social media and multimedia activities like podcasts. Suggest and help develop new initiatives for future journal growth. This role supports The Lancet Regional Health – Europe, an open access journal focused on improving health outcomes across Europe, working closely with the Editor-in-Chief and fellow Senior Editors.
