Job Summary

Conceive and write engaging branded content pitches, stories, and projects for clients across consulting, finance, technology, and luxury verticals. Conduct research and on-the-ground interviews to write, commission, and edit primary and secondary source reporting while adhering to newsroom standards for fact-checking and proofreading. Lead B2B campaigns from brainstorming sessions and creative conceptualization through production, including video and podcast projects. Proofread editorial copy from colleagues across London, Paris, Singapore, and New York, ensuring all content aligns with The New York Times values and client strategic aims. This hybrid role reports to the Editorial Director, EMEA and APAC, with three days per week in the London office.

Required Qualifications

  • BA/BS in communications, journalism, or humanities
  • Extensive experience in a branded content or editorial role
  • Experience in audio and video production
  • Experience reporting on finance, business and tech beats
  • Solid digital journalism, writing and editing experience
  • Experience responding to feedback from advertisers and clients
  • Experience with social media, distribution and the branded content landscape
  • Demonstrate support and understanding of our value of journalistic independence and a strong commitment to our mission to seek the truth and help people understand the world
  • You can typically expect to be in the office 3 days per week

Desired Qualifications

  • MA/MS level in communications, journalism, or humanities
  • Editor with experience in B2B subjects, but able to work across a diverse range of topics including tech, culture, lifestyle, travel and luxury
