Senior Ecommerce Growth Manager for a U.S. E-commerce Agency

Job Summary
Senior Ecommerce Growth Manager at Contara, leading a conversion pod to grow store revenue across three work streams (paid landing pages, Shopify theme optimization and testing, brand/operational support). Own client relationships as the primary strategic advisor, deeply understand each client's brand, product, customers, and competitive landscape, and make data-driven recommendations. Lead a pod including a PM, Tech Lead, developers, and designer; collaborate with the Tech Lead on scoping and technical decisions; ensure client satisfaction and retention; stay current on subscription CPG trends; run hypothesis-driven A/B testing programs in Intelligems; drive high-quality work on time; develop and manage the PM on your team; roll up your sleeves when needed to move initiatives across the finish line.
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience managing e-commerce or agency projects end-to-end
- Data-driven mindset - analytics to inform strategy and measure impact
- Strategic mindset - develop hypotheses, make recommendations, drive results
- Strong client management skills - build trust and become a true partner
- Deep interest in subscription CPG - follow industry trends
- Technical understanding of Shopify and e-commerce (ability to speak the language)
- Experience with A/B testing and CRO programs
- Track record of leading and developing team members
- Familiarity with tools like Slack, Linear, Figma, Intelligems, and GitHub
- Genuine passion for CPG brands and the subscription commerce space
