Job Summary

Design, develop, and maintain enterprise eCommerce solutions within HCL Commerce, ERP, and third-party integrations while leading backend development and system architecture. Serve as the senior escalation point for complex technical issues, analyzing performance, resolving failures, and implementing long-term solutions to ensure platform reliability. Provide technical leadership by mentoring full-stack developers, conducting code reviews, and defining development standards that align with business objectives. Collaborate with stakeholders and vendors to execute strategic technology initiatives and support storefront enhancements using React and modern frameworks.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field
  • Minimum 7 years of professional software development experience
  • At least 3 years supporting enterprise eCommerce platforms and business-critical production systems
  • Proven experience leading development projects and mentoring technical teams
  • Strong technical background in enterprise Java development
  • REST API development
  • SQL and relational database design
  • System integration and enterprise architecture, including ERP integrations, middleware, and service-oriented architecture
  • Hands-on experience with HCL Commerce / IBM WebSphere Commerce
  • React and modern JavaScript frameworks
  • WordPress development and integrations
  • Proficient with Git source control
  • CI/CD and release management practices
  • Application monitoring tools such as Dynatrace
  • Demonstrated ability in application troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and supporting complex, integrated technology environments
  • Must be able to manage multiple tasks, projects, and deadlines simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to remain effective during high-pressure situations, including system issues, interruptions, and shifting business needs
  • Occasional standing, walking, bending, reaching, and lifting or moving items up to 20 pounds
  • Must be able to move within office environments and attend meetings as needed
  • Flexibility to work extended hours, including evenings or weekends, to meet business demands
  • Occasional travel for training, meetings, or other business purposes
  • Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without the need for employer-sponsored visa sponsorship now or in the future
  • Must live within local driving distance of our Lakeville, Minnesota Corporate office for monthly team meetings
