Senior Early Years Practitioner

Senior Early Years Practitioner (Room Lead) in Witham, UK. Lead the staff within the room to provide learning programmes for individual or groups of children, delivering high quality early years education and care in line with the EYFS. Plan, implement and review engaging activities, assess and observe children, support children with SEN in collaboration with families and external professionals, ensure compliance with nursery policies and legislative requirements, and contribute to wider nursery development. Manage dedicated areas/rooms, monitor outcomes, maintain appropriate staff-child ratios, and provide a stimulating range of activities while meeting health and care needs. Strong emphasis on planning, observation, reflection of children’s learning, and effective communication across age groups. Paediatric First Aid required; Level 3 childcare qualifications preferred.
