Senior E2E Product Designer (CT/ET Timezone)

Job Summary
Own problems end-to-end from discovery through to shipped product, moving fluidly from problem framing and flow design to prototyping in code and real product delivery. Design scalable flows, systems, and interfaces while building a deep understanding of educators and schools through continuous research via interviews, observation, and data. Turn insight into action by shaping problems, validating direction, and informing build decisions rather than justifying them post-facto. Create fast feedback loops using modern and AI-assisted tools to test ideas early through prototypes and live experiments. Collaborate deeply with engineers and PMs, contributing directly to implementation and shaping production code where needed. Mentor other designers and help shape how the team works as design evolves into a core product-building discipline.
Required Qualifications
- Senior Product Designer
- Service, system, and interface design
- End-to-end product ownership (discovery through to shipped product)
- Design flows, systems, and interfaces
- Deep understanding of educators, schools, and internal teams
- Research skills (interviews, observation, data, real product usage)
- Turning insight into action (shaping problems, validating direction)
- Creating fast feedback loops (prototyping, conversations, live experiments)
- Prototyping and validating ideas quickly (including AI-assisted tools)
- Exploring interaction, logic, and behaviour in real environments
- Collaboration with engineers and PMs
- Contributing directly to implementation
- Balancing speed vs quality
- Mentoring other designers
- CT/ET Timezone availability
- Collaboration with West Coast and Europe teams
Desired Qualifications
- Technical fluency
- Prototyping beyond Figma
- Writing or shaping production code (e.g., via tools like Claude)
- Experience with tools like Lovable
- Experience with tools like Dovetail
- Experience with AI-assisted tools
