Job Summary
Senior Microsoft Engineer responsible for owning the endpoint platform (Intune, Autopilot, Defender for Endpoint, Entra ID, Configuration Manager where relevant, and the full M365 stack) to ensure fast, secure, modern, and effortless experiences for users. Role emphasizes CI/CD pipelines for configuration and policy deployment, code-driven automation (PowerShell, Graph API), and infrastructure-as-code practices for the digital workplace, with AI-enabled automation and Copilot governance. Close partnership with Cybersecurity on hardening baselines, zero-trust posture, and vulnerability remediation; accountable for deployment, patching, hardening, and retirement of devices and ensuring a defensible fleet in a regulated insurance/financial services environment. Requires 7+ years of experience with Microsoft platforms in regulated settings, expert-level knowledge of Intune/Autopilot/Entra ID/M365 stack, strong scripting and CI/CD capabilities, and a user-centric mindset focused on reliable technology delivery.
Required Qualifications
- 7+ years engineering Microsoft platforms in regulated environments (L&A, insurance, or financial services preferred)
- expert-level command of Intune, Autopilot, Entra ID, and the M365 administrative stack
- PowerShell fluency
- Graph API experience
- built CI/CD pipelines for endpoint and M365 workloads using Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or equivalent
- Git is muscle memory
- knowledge of endpoint security: Defender for Endpoint, attack surface reduction, BitLocker, Credential Guard, application control, zero trust
