Job Summary
Senior CAD professional responsible for 2D/3D CAD design and documentation in a pharma manufacturing environment. Lead CAD drafting and modelling efforts using AutoCAD/Revit to produce P&IDs, PFDs, architectural and MEP drawings, maintain CAD standards, manage drawing file systems, and support site surveys and as-built documentation. Ensure GMP-compliant documentation, audit-ready master drawings for regulatory review, and coordinate with cross-functional teams including engineers, project managers, quality, and regulatory affairs. Drive continuous improvement of CAD processes, digitalization initiatives (3D modelling, BIM, CAFM), and act as Primary System Owner for CAD/CAFM systems. Requires experience with GMP documentation, change control, deviation, CAPA processes, and collaboration on construction/renovation projects. Strong attention to detail, time management, and clear communication; able to mentor staff and contractors, provide training, and respond to CAD-related requests. Education options include High School Diploma with CAD experience or Associate's Degree with CAD experience; multiple pathways listed; English required with additional languages depending on location.
Required Qualifications
- Significant experience in the development of medical devices, drug device combination products and/or primary containers, and creation of Design Control documentation
- 5-6 years in 2D drafting & 3D modelling in Pharma industries
- Exposure to technical drawings (P&IDs, architectural plans, HVAC systems)
- Experience with document management systems
- 5-6 years in regulated industries (food, medical devices, aerospace)
- Understanding of quality systems and compliance
- Experience with change control processes, GMP experience, regulatory documentation
- English proficiency; additional languages based on location (French/German)
