Job Summary
Lead and coordinate drainage engineering projects from concept through to delivery, developing innovative sustainable designs aligned with client and regulatory requirements. Provide technical support and mentorship to junior engineers while collaborating closely with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams to ensure project success. Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards across road and rail infrastructure initiatives. This role is based in the Brisbane Water Resources Team at Aurecon, a global engineering consultancy recognized as a Best Place to Work.
Required Qualifications
- RPEQ accreditation
- Proven drainage experience in civil infrastructure projects (particularly in road and rail projects)
- Experience working with Austroads guidelines
- Experience working with QLD TMR standards & specifications
- Experience working with QUDM
- Strong technical capability in key software including 12d
- Strong technical capability in key software including DRAINS
- Strong technical capability in key software including MUSIC
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to lead teams and manage multiple projects effectively
Desired Qualifications
- Experience working with rail drainage standards and specifications
