Senior Draftsman / GIS (Roads O&M)

Job Summary
Prepare, review, and maintain engineering drawings for road maintenance and infrastructure works, ensuring compliance with client requirements, applicable standards, and project specifications. Coordinate with engineers, surveyors, and site teams to ensure drawing accuracy and completeness. Ensure all drawings comply with Ashghal requirements, QCS, and relevant standards. Incorporate review comments and maintain drawing registers and document control records. Support permit applications, utility coordination, and technical submissions. Strong AutoCAD proficiency; Civil 3D knowledge is an advantage; GIS tools such as Qatar Geoportal, Google Earth, and KMZ files are beneficial. Knowledge of Ashghal standards, QHDM, and TDP requirements is an advantage. Excellent coordination, communication, and time-management skills; ability to work under pressure and meet project deadlines.
Required Qualifications
- Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering, Drafting Technology, or a related field
- Minimum 8 years of drafting experience in roads and infrastructure projects
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Road Operations & Maintenance projects
- Experience with Ashghal projects and TDP preparation is preferred
