Job Summary
As a Senior Donor Relations Executive, deliver exceptional experiences for high-value supporters to power Cancer Research UK's campaigns. Act as an operational partner to frontline fundraisers, coordinating seamless cultivation and stewardship activities; lead on the preparation of gift agreements and pledge confirmations with accuracy and donor-centric precision. Project-manage key donor materials such as proposals, impact reports, and recognition initiatives; coordinate donor engagement opportunities including meetings, lab tours, and interactions with researchers and leadership. Support fundraising strategy through CRM reporting, pipeline tracking, and campaign delivery, while building cross-team relationships to ensure joined-up donor journeys and continuous improvement in donor experiences.
Required Qualifications
- A brilliant communicator with strong stakeholder management skills
- Highly organised with ability to manage multiple priorities and tight deadlines
- Confident project manager coordinating activity across multiple teams
- Excellent writing skills with keen eye for detail
- Donor-first mindset and strong customer service approach
- Comfortable using databases and Microsoft Office tools

- Experience in fundraising or strong interest in philanthropy and major gifts
