Job Summary
Senior Documentation Specialist responsible for preparing loan documentation for a variety of loan types (CRE, lines of credit, term loans, construction loans, and SBA loans), coordinating due diligence activities (including title work, surveys, and insurance), organizing pre-close files, gathering required documentation with loan officers and borrowers, coordinating closing activities and funding, reviewing and auditingClosing documents, ensuring post-closing requirements are met, supporting loan file preparation for imaging and servicing, collaborating with underwriting and portfolio management, assigning workload for timely closings, and providing training and process-improvement contributions.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required, or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Minimum 5 years of commercial lending, credit, or loan documentation experience required
- Strong knowledge of commercial loan types, including CRE, C&I, construction, and SBA lending
- Experience with loan closing processes, due diligence, and documentation preparation
