Job Summary
Lead Business Insider’s off-platform distribution strategy across social, syndication, and emerging platforms, unifying editorial and video efforts to optimize partner performance, expand revenue opportunities, and drive audience growth. Oversee a team of social distribution specialists, establish platform-specific strategies and KPIs, and package, distribute, and monetize BI content across diverse channels. Partner with Business Development to evaluate platform ROI and prioritize initiatives, while leveraging analytics to inform resource allocation. Experience integrating AI tools into the distribution workflow to enhance content packaging and scale off-platform presence without sacrificing editorial integrity. Salary range $170,000-$180,000 plus comprehensive benefits.
Required Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in media distribution strategies
- Leadership experience
- Experience leading cross-functional teams (editorial, video, audience, business)
- Strong analytical and data-driven decision-making
- Experience driving audience growth and monetization through off-platform channels
- Experience using AI tools in distribution workflows
- Strong understanding of platform ecosystems (YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, X, Apple News, Yahoo, MSN, SmartNews)
- Ability to establish KPIs and ROI frameworks for partnerships and distribution
- Strategic partnership development and business development collaboration
