Job Summary

Guide government clients through the Design Intelligence framework by leading discovery workshops, interviews, and research to define problem statements and assess change readiness. Synthesize data into compelling stories and presentations that shape transformation enablement, then develop and deploy communication, pilot, and training plans with key stakeholders. Create change management plans articulating actionable recommendations for organizational improvement, while measuring key performance indicators for adoption. Collaborate cross-functionally within an agile environment to integrate change management into technological constraints and ensure high-quality deliverables across projects.

Required Qualifications

  • Ability to obtain a U.S. government Public Trust Security Clearance
  • 6+ years of experience in change management
  • well-versed in change management best practices and models
  • Thorough knowledge and demonstrated experience in current state assessments
  • Thorough knowledge and demonstrated experience in future state visioning
  • Thorough knowledge and demonstrated experience in communication planning
  • Thorough knowledge and demonstrated experience conducting user and stakeholder interviews
  • Thorough knowledge and demonstrated experience synthesizing data and insights into personas, action, and training plans
  • Ability to think strategically and holistically
  • connect dots across multiple workstreams, stakeholder groups, and ecosystems
  • Proficiency in PowerPoint
  • Proficiency in collaboration tools like Mural
  • A natural curiosity for solving problems

  • Degree, equivalent experience, and/or certification in change management
  • Local to the Washington, DC metro area

Desired Qualifications

  • Previous work experience in or with the federal government
  • Previous work experience as a consultant
  • Experience in Human-Centered Design / Customer Experience Design
  • Experience working on multi-disciplinary, cross-functional teams including Service Designers, UX and UI designers, technologists, data scientists, engineers, and solution architects
  • Experience working within an Agile delivery framework
