Job Summary

Apply independent judgment to solve complex, undefined challenges in dispute operations, delivering strategic recommendations that improve client processes and articulate return on investment. Continuously build expertise in dispute analytics and industry trends to design scalable solutions aligned with client needs. Proactively identify opportunities for cost reduction and operational efficiency while partnering with Client Services, GTMS, and Product teams to drive integrated value. Lead cross-functional stakeholders to align on program priorities and engage directly with clients to build trusted relationships and translate insights into business impact. Contribute to program materials, support team development through coaching, and stay current on regulatory and technology trends to position proactive solutions. Requires 3 days in-office attendance and 5-10% travel.

Required Qualifications

  • 2 or more years of work experience
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD, or PhD)
  • Extensive experience in the card or financial services industry
  • Strong expertise in dispute processing
  • Issuing support
  • Merchant acquiring
  • Back office and banking operations
  • Advanced people management skills
  • Advanced understanding of transaction processing including authorization, clearing, and settlement
  • Card technologies such as tokenization and EMV
  • Strong knowledge of the payments ecosystem including issuers, acquirers, processors, agents, merchants, and cardholders
  • Extensive knowledge of Visa rules and regulations
  • Strong judgment and negotiation skills
  • Ability to drive positive client outcomes while minimizing operational risk
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently with limited oversight
  • Strong organizational, conceptual, and problem solving skills
