Job Summary
Lead complex chargeback and arbitration cases to drive fair, accurate, and timely dispute resolutions across the payments ecosystem. Apply deep analytical expertise to identify transaction patterns, mitigate risk, and improve the consistency of dispute resolution processes. Review complex case documentation to ensure regulatory and card network requirements are met while maintaining high standards of accuracy. Share expertise with colleagues, guide them through complex scenarios, and contribute process improvements that enhance operational performance and customer experiences.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- 4+ years of relevant experience in dispute resolution, chargebacks, payments operations or a related field
- Proven ability to analyze complex transaction activity, interpret findings and make sound decisions that deliver accurate and compliant outcomes
- Strong working knowledge of card network regulations and industry dispute processes, with the ability to apply requirements confidently in real-world situations
- Demonstrated success managing competing priorities, exercising initiative and maintaining high levels of accuracy in a fast-paced environment
- Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to influence outcomes, build trust and support colleagues across teams
Desired Qualifications
- Experience handling dispute cases throughout the full association lifecycle, including arbitration and final rulings
- Experience identifying operational trends and recommending process improvements that enhance client and business outcomes
- A track record of coaching, mentoring or informally leading team members in complex operational environments
