Job Summary
Senior Director/VP, Medical Affairs responsible for serving as the scientific heartbeat of the organization, acting as the scientific authority for CT-155, and architecting the US Medical Affairs strategy. Lead a Field Medical team, develop Medical Information systems, ensure compliant medical materials, and translate clinical data into clinician-friendly insights. Drive RWE/OLE programs, HEOR analyses, and payer engagement; lead publication strategy, medical advisory boards, and cross-functional collaboration with Marketing, Access, and Commercial teams. Role offers hybrid work model with substantial in-office presence (NYC or Boston) and potential remote options. Requires PharmD and 15+ years of leadership in pharma/biotech/medtech with MSL experience; strong leadership, communication, and strategic planning skills; familiarity with digital therapeutics and evidence generation for payer planning.
Required Qualifications
- Advanced Degree Required: PharmD
- 15+ years of progressive leadership within the pharmaceutical, biotech, or medtech sectors, with a significant portion dedicated to Medical Affairs and HEOR
- Prior experience as an MSL
- Proven track record of leading medical launch readiness for first-in-class products or complex specialty therapeutics
- Ability to translate complex clinical data into a compelling narrative that shifts provider behavior and therapeutic paradigms
- Exceptional emotional intelligence and a track record of building and mentoring diverse, high-performing medical teams
- Mastery of scientific storytelling; the ability to present to specialists and investors
