Senior Director, Strategy & Business, Entertainment (Hybrid/Telework)

Job Summary
Coordinate annual planning synthesis and integrate strategic inputs from Entertainment leadership teams to shape unified operational roadmaps. Convert high-level corporate strategies into actionable departmental initiatives, track Key Performance Indicators, and drive portfolio execution across cross-functional projects including digital and AI strategy integration. Establish and optimize the leadership team's operating cadence, manage budget allocation with Finance, and prepare briefing documents for the GM, Board of Directors, and CRTC. Oversee culture and values alignment, staff engagement, and the annual performance review cycle while acting as a central interface to cascade insights and ensure interdepartmental alignment.
Required Qualifications
- An undergraduate degree in Media, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field
- Bilingualism in French and English
- A mandatory Criminal record check

- Strong familiarity with the media/entertainment landscape, including digital transformation trends, content relevancy models, and industry shifts
- Demonstrated success in directing cross-functional initiatives and organizing diverse teams toward unified deadlines
- Strong critical thinking, complex problem-solving abilities, and exceptional emotional intelligence
- Superior writing, presentation, and public speaking skills
- A demonstrated ability to influence without direct authority
- Must be able to synthesize and analyze complex, inter-organization information in order to make appropriate business recommendations
- Must be able to handle multiple priorities and respond to several urgent demands in a short time frame
- Must be able to assess a situation, determine the root cause of the problem and initiate the course of action required
- Required to exercise judgment and justify the position taken
- Required to take initiative and work independently
