Job Summary
Own solution strategy and value stream alignment for an assigned portfolio within the ME&T Product organization. Act as the senior subject-matter authority on portfolio strategy, market landscape, and industry trends by defining solution scope, sequencing, and investment priorities. Develop long-term product vision, business cases, and ROI models to guide where Zelis invests next. Partner in a matrixed model across Product Management & Delivery, Product Operations, Strategy, Commercialization, and external stakeholders to shape and deliver high-impact solutions. Support pricing, positioning, commercialization, contracting, and pre-sales activities while leveraging customer, competitive, and market insights to identify strategic partnerships and external growth opportunities. Translate strategy into epics and roadmap direction in close partnership with Product Management & Delivery.
Required Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in product strategy, product management, or a related strategic role
- ideally within healthcare technology, payments, or a related industry
- 3+ years of experience leading strategy for a product portfolio or value stream
- including business case development and investment prioritization
- Demonstrated ability to build long-term strategy, ROI models, and business cases that inform executive investment decisions
- Strong track record partnering cross-functionally with Sales, Finance, Marketing, Commercialization, and Delivery teams in a matrixed organization
- Deep understanding of market landscape and industry trends relevant to the assigned portfolio
- Excellent executive communication and stakeholder management skills
- including experience engaging external partners and industry groups
- Experience translating strategy into actionable roadmap direction in partnership with delivery-focused product teams
- Bachelor's degree
- Requires proficiency using AI tools skillfully
- with an understanding of how to develop/create intelligent prompts and/or agents
- Industry-recognized expertise in product strategy
- Experience influencing enterprise decisions and direction
