Job Summary
Senior Director, Revenue Cycle Management responsible for leading and optimizing all RCM functions (verification, documentation, billing, QA, A/R and denial management) and developing/implementing revenue cycle strategies. Will determine the structure of the RCM team, drive processes to maximize reimbursements, improve collection rates and reduce bad debt and DSO, lead large RCM projects (audits, budgets, technology enhancements), build relationships with payers and industry leaders, and design a high-performance team to scale with company growth across a healthcare practice in Hackensack, NJ with hybrid work flexibility. Requires a Bachelor’s degree (or 10+ years in healthcare management), 10+ years of leadership experience in healthcare, excellent communication and organizational skills, and strong analytical/problem-solving abilities.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field—or minimum of 10 years in healthcare management
- Minimum 10 years of demonstrated success leading diverse, geographically dispersed teams in a high-activity, fast-paced environment
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Thorough understanding of medical insurance billing
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
