Job Summary
Lead North American energy procurement, logistics, and strategic sourcing functions, directing RFP development, contract execution, and complex commercial negotiations. Manage capital budgets exceeding $800M while overseeing equipment procurement, submittals, and delivery performance across a multi-billion-dollar portfolio. Provide executive oversight of inventory management, capacity planning, and supply chain resiliency, forecasting demand and optimizing working capital. Partner with Operations, Construction, Finance, and Engineering to align long-term operational sustainability with value engineering and cost metrics. Manage a team of 3-5 direct reports, mentor future leaders, and drive continuous improvement initiatives. Travel monthly to manufacturers and project sites to support vendor partnerships and resolve complex supply chain challenges.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Construction Management, or similar field
- 12+ years of experience in a supply chain, procurement, or construction role
- Lives by the Vantage Culture daily
- 25% Expected travel to construction sites and vendor facilities
- Data Center or industrial equipment experience
- Technical aptitude of mechanical and electrical systems
- Experience with construction and supplier contracts
- Knowledge of construction management processes
- Experience as a lead project manager for projects over $300M USD
- Ability to autonomously make decisions and drive challenges to closure
- Strong business acumen and strong commercial background
- Knowledge of sourcing and procurement techniques
- Ability to comfortably present technical data to executive level leadership
- Ability to occasionally stand; walk; sit; use hands to handle, or feel objects; reach with hands and arms; climb stairs; balance; stoop or kneel; talk and hear
- Ability to occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds
