Senior Director, Quality Control (QC Head)

Senior Director, Quality Control (QC Head) at Gilead in La Verne, CA leads the strategic oversight of QC operations across analytical, microbiology, raw materials, in-process, drug substance, drug product, and stability programs for both small molecules and biologics. Partners with site and global stakeholders to drive operational excellence, harmonization, and continuous improvement while aligning with enterprise quality standards. Builds and leads a high-performing QC organization, fosters a culture of scientific rigor, collaboration, and accountability, and drives Lean Laboratory initiatives, digitalization, and automation. Oversees regulatory inspections, supports PPQ and tech transfers, and ensures data integrity and validation across global programs. Engages cross-functionally with Manufacturing, MSAT, QA, Regulatory, and Supply Chain to ensure reliable product supply and portfolio resilience.
