Job Summary
Lead corporate PR strategy for FIS in North America, shaping a proactive brand voice and reputation across media, social channels, industry speaking, and thought leadership. Own executive visibility, crisis communications, and alignment of earned media with marketing and investor relations. Build deep media relationships, drive proactive coverage, craft compelling narratives from complex business and technology priorities, and manage a high-performing PR team and agency partners. Leverage AI-enabled tools to scale monitoring, content development, and measurement; partner with cross-functional leaders to execute data-informed programs and transformational initiatives.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience in communications or related field
- Demonstrated leadership in corporate or global public relations within complex organisations
- Proven expertise in media relations, reputation management, and crisis communications
- Strong storytelling and narrative development across business, technology, and financial topics
- Established relationships with senior reporters and editors in financial and technology media
- Experience building proactive, data informed PR programmes from strategy through execution
- Executive presence with the ability to advise and coach senior leaders
- Experience leading teams and managing external agencies
- Experience managing communications through M&A activity, corporate divestitures or major business transformation
- Master’s degree (preferred)
- Experience in financial services, fintech, payments, banking, or other regulated industries (preferred)
- Background in agency leadership or senior in house roles at publicly traded companies (preferred)
- Familiarity with AI-powered PR tools and platforms (preferred)
