Job Summary
Senior Director, Program Management leading cross-functional planning and execution for Travere’s rare immune-mediated kidney disease programs. Drive integrated development plans, timelines, budgets, risk management, and governance across clinical, regulatory, commercial, access, manufacturing, medical, and nonclinical functions; partner with Alliance management to align with external partners; lead decision-ready materials and strategy-team meetings; manage complex drug development programs in a matrixed, global environment with Asia-based partnerships; Bachelor’s degree required with 12+ years in biotech/pharma and 5+ years in program leadership; no remote-only expectation; role located onsite in San Diego with substantial cross-functional interaction and stakeholder management.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences or related field
- 12+ years of relevant industry experience in biotech or pharmaceutical development
- 5+ years of program or project leadership in complex drug development programs
- Experience with rare disease / orphan drug / late-stage development is preferred
- Understanding of regulatory requirements (NDA/MAA) and support of regulatory submissions
- Demonstrated ability to lead and influence in a matrixed, cross-functional environment
- Experience of working within a partnership, preferably with Asia-based partner
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and consensus-building skills
- Strong planning, budgeting, and forecasting capabilities
- Proficiency in project management tools and MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Smartsheet
- Ability to operate in a global, multi-site environment
- Willingness to travel as needed
- Onsite work in San Diego (no expectation of 100% remote)
