Job Summary
Lead a senior product strategy and corporate development agenda for ACS Publications, owning end-to-end product/portfolio strategy, inorganic growth through M&A and strategic partnerships, and cross-functional go-to-market execution. Define vision, roadmaps, and business cases; drive revenue growth, margin expansion, and strategic differentiation; manage financial performance of product portfolios; oversee full lifecycle for acquisitions and partnerships, including sourcing, valuation, diligence, structuring, negotiation, and integration planning; collaborate with Technology/R&D to assess diligence and post-transaction value; mentor a ~8-person team across product strategy, product management, and corporate development; prepare executive communications and partner with leadership to translate strategy into actionable initiatives. Preferred candidates may have an MBA, experience in data-driven SaaS/platform environments, AI-enabled market analysis, and publishing domain familiarity. This role is based in Washington, DC with a hybrid work arrangement and total compensation between $250k-$280k per year.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, economics, science, or related field
- 12–15+ years of progressive experience across product management/strategy, corporate development, consulting, or strategic finance
- Experience developing AI/technology adoption strategies and multi-year roadmaps
- Experience leading and scaling product management/strategy teams in matrixed organizations
- Experience in data or information industry monetization
- Strong financial modeling, valuation, and analytical skills
- Demonstrated ability to lead complex cross-functional initiatives
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with executive presence
