Senior Director, Pricing & Market Access

Job Summary
Senior Director leads the Global Pricing Analytics capability within Vertex's GPAG, partnering with US and International Market Access, Global Value & Access Strategy, and Finance to define pricing analytics deliverables, governance, and data infrastructure. Responsible for building an integrated analytics reporting system, applying AI pilots where appropriate, ensuring compliance with Global Price Policies, and guiding lifecycle pricing, launch sequencing, and horizon scanning to optimize pricing and access across regions. Requires strong cross-functional leadership, analytical skills, and ability to communicate insights to stakeholders at multiple levels.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required, ideally in life sciences; post graduate preferred
- 12+ years of direct biotechnology/pharmaceutical industry experience
- 5+ years of supervisory/management experience
- Working knowledge of US and/or ex-US pricing environment
- Experience with pricing & reimbursement principles
- Proficiency in Tableau and/or Power BI; knowledge of Snowflake or data lakes a plus
