Job Summary
The Senior Director, Pre-Access is responsible for leading all Pre-Access related functions, managing the Scheduling team, and identifying strategies to enhance operational efficiency, improve patient experience, and ensure compliance. Key responsibilities include making leadership decisions, coaching and developing talent, driving team performance metrics, managing projects from inception through implementation, and collaborating with revenue cycle departments for optimal results. The role requires strong leadership and executive presence, as well as the ability to communicate effectively and manage conflict.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
- 5+ years of leadership experience
- 7+ years of Revenue Cycle or Patient Access experience
- Experience in healthcare provider finance operations or similar service environment
- Financial and project management experience
- Demonstrated use of KPIs to drive and track team performance
- Ability to effectively lead diverse teams and influence change management
- Effective communication skills with ability to clearly convey information
Desired Qualifications
- CRCR certification (required within first 9 months of hire)
- CHAM certification (preferred)
