Job Summary

Senior Director, Partner Ecosystem Sales in Japan leads the Japan Ecosystem strategy across multiple routes-to-market, driving quarterly execution and out-quarter delivery, aligning with APAC and Global stakeholders to grow net-new business through partner-led routes. Responsibilities include managing partner-driven business development initiatives, coordinating joint account planning with Red Hat Field Sales, working with Practice Leads, ISVs, and industry vertical teams, and negotiating contracts with legal counsel. The role requires building trusted relationships with partners and internal teams, delivering joint go-to-market plans, and ensuring revenue forecasts and pipeline targets are met. The position resides in Japan with the flexibility to work across in-office, office-flex, or fully remote as appropriate for the role, and entails travel up to 50%. Candidate must have a proven track record in leading Sales/Channel teams, deep partner ecosystem experience, and strong executive communication in English and Japanese.

Required Qualifications

  • 10+ years of experience leading high performing Sales and Channel teams
  • 10+ years of experience in sales and business development with reseller/distribution, cloud, OEM, System Integrator partners
  • 7+ years of experience with cloud software, SaaS vendors and their business models
  • Experience developing and managing partnerships for market seeding and revenue generation
  • Executive presence and communication skills in English and Japanese
