Job Summary
Senior Director of Operations responsible for overseeing multiple manufacturing facilities, guiding department heads to achieve goals, manage operating budgets, and drive safety, quality, and production efficiency. Deliver business objectives across safety, cost, quality, and customer service while implementing continuous process improvements. Lead initiatives to maximize employee contribution and accountability, provide strategic vision and roadmap for area(s) of responsibility, develop short- and long-term plans, and foster an inclusive, high-performing culture. Demonstrated leadership in cross-functional collaboration, budget management, and driving results in a fast-paced, dynamic environment; required to recruit, develop, and retain talent, with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited four-year college or university
- 12+ years of progressive experience in operations, engineering, supply chain or similar field
- 5+ years of demonstrated experience in team management/development
- solid understanding of end-to-end processes in a food manufacturing environment
- experience in leading multiple facilities and managing budgets
- ability to recruit, train, and motivate personnel and balance staffing with profitability and growth
