(Senior) Director, Operations

Job Summary
Senior-level Director of Operations leading the Bratislava-based organization, responsible for owning the operational backbone, P&L, processes, tools, and strategic rhythms that keep the business performing at scale. The role includes end-to-end deal/contract process ownership in HubSpot and PandaDoc, profitability management, project-structure support in Harvest/SharePoint/Asana, bi-annual client-satisfaction program ownership, and governance of core tools (Harvest, Asana, HubSpot, PandaDoc, Miro, Microsoft stack, AI tools). It requires close collaboration with the Managing Director Slovakia, EU and Global CEOs, and external partners to ensure consistent, scalable operations. The role also covers budgeting, forecasting, OKR process ownership, internal communications, strategic planning, and potential future leadership in people and culture. The position emphasizes a data-driven approach, cross-functional coordination, and strong English-language communication within an international team. The company offers hybrid work in Bratislava, relocation support can be agreed on if needed, and a starting salary from 3800 EUR gross per month with standard employment terms; focus areas include large-scale international marketing campaigns and working with top digital marketing minds in a global environment.
Required Qualifications
- Excellent English communication (C1)
- Several years of leadership experience in operations/COO/head of operations roles
- Experience with HubSpot, PandaDoc, Harvest, Asana, Microsoft stack, Miro, and AI productivity tools
- Experience in agency/consulting or multi-team professional services environments
- Ability to manage local P&L, budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning
- Strong cross-functional collaboration and remote/hybrid work experience
- Ability to translate financials into actionable decisions and OKR planning
- Ability to work in Bratislava-based hybrid environment
- Proficiency in Slovak is a plus
- Willingness to engage with international partners and remote/global teams
Desired Qualifications
- Several years of experience in a similar Head of Operations, Operations Lead, COO, or comparable role
- Excellent communications skills in English, both written and oral (minimum level C1)
- Hands-on experience with the tools used day-to-day: HubSpot, PandaDoc, Harvest, Asana, the Microsoft stack, Miro, and AI productivity platforms like Langdock or Claude
- Experience working in a matrixed, international setup with global and regional leadership layers
- Experience in an agency, consulting firm, or other multi-team professional services environment
- A background that combines finance/controlling exposure with cross-functional operations
- Ability to think like an owner and drive strategic planning, OKRs, budgeting, and P&L management
- Not a dealbreaker but valued: Slovak language proficiency and relocation flexibility
- Experience in a professional services, agency, or similarly people-and-project-driven business
