Job Summary
Lead and manage a high-performing team of software engineers, architects, and technical leads responsible for the design, development, and support of Treasury/CIO trade execution systems. Define and execute the technology strategy for trade execution, ensuring alignment with business objectives, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices. Oversee end-to-end delivery of complex projects, including requirements gathering, solution design, development, testing, deployment, and post-production support. Partner with business stakeholders, product owners, and other technology teams to deliver scalable, resilient, and high-performance trading solutions, while fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement. Establish AI-based platform health monitoring using intelligent observability and automated root-cause analysis to strengthen operational excellence. Drive adoption of modern engineering practices, including Agile methodologies, DevOps, cloud technologies, and automation, while mentoring engineering talent on career growth and leadership capabilities.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- 15+ years of experience in software engineering, with at least 5 years in a leadership role managing large, distributed teams
- Proven track record of delivering complex trading or financial systems in a global banking environment
- Expertise in modern programming languages (Java, Python, C++), distributed systems, cloud platforms, and microservices architecture
- Strong knowledge of risk, compliance, and regulatory requirements impacting trading technology
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and organizational skills
- Ability to influence and drive change across technology and business teams
