Job Summary
Senior Director of Production & Supply Chain oversees end-to-end production, planning, procurement, logistics, inventory control, and repair operations to scale manufacturing, improve supply chain performance, and ensure on-time delivery. Partners with Engineering, Quality, Program Management, and Finance to support new product introductions, production readiness, and operational execution, while developing workforce plans, budgets, KPIs, and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance throughput, efficiency, and cost performance. Requirements include a Bachelor's degree and 8+ years in manufacturing or supply chain leadership, expertise in MRP/ERP, KPI development, supplier management, and cross-functional leadership.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Engineering, Business Administration, Manufacturing, or a related field
- 8+ years of progressive leadership experience in manufacturing, production, supply chain, procurement, or related operational environments
- Experience leading both production/manufacturing operations and supply chain organizations
- Strong understanding of production planning, procurement, material requirements planning (MRP), inventory management, logistics, and supplier management
- Experience developing and monitoring KPIs, capacity plans, production metrics, inventory metrics, and supplier performance metrics
- Proven ability to improve manufacturing throughput, operational efficiency, inventory performance, and on-time delivery
- Experience managing supplier relationships, sourcing strategies, and supply chain risk mitigation initiatives
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive results in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Experience with ERP/MRP systems and production planning tools
- Ability to influence stakeholders and build effective relationships across all levels of the organization
