Job Summary
Manage production activities, negotiate critical dates, and oversee approval processes for each style while adhering to the Time and Action Calendar. Cultivate relationships with cross-functional teams, overseas vendors, and internal departments to resolve delivery issues and enhance efficiencies. Monitor weekly WIP reports, approve shipment extensions and vessel bookings, and provide leadership to the production team. Create memos on shortages and overages, coordinate with design and sales regarding delivery extensions, and mentor associates to support their growth.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree
- 10+ years of previous related work experience
- Experience working in retail/manufacturing industry
- Understand ladies apparel Product
- Knowledge of ERP systems similar to RLM/SAP and PLM knowledge
- Strong sourcing, negotiation, analytical and organizational
- Strong project management skills
- Ability to multi task and prioritize
- Working knowledge of the production process from development through finished goods at warehouse
- MS Excel and Outlook proficiency
