Job Summary
Senior Director of Payroll responsible for overseeing all U.S. payroll operations in a multi-state, multi-union environment for 15,000+ W-2 employees. Lead end-to-end payroll processes, ensure compliance and audits, manage systems and integrations (notably ADP WorkforceNow), and partner with HR, Finance, Legal, and vendors to deliver accurate, timely payroll and robust payroll metrics to senior leadership. Drive strategy, risk management, internal controls, and continuous improvement across payroll operations.
Required Qualifications
- Significant leadership experience managing large, complex U.S. payrolls across all 50 states.
- Deep expertise in multi-state payroll compliance, union payrolls, wage/hour laws, and tax regulations.
- Proven experience with ADP Workforce Now and payroll system integrations.
- Strong audit, controls, and risk management background.
- Demonstrated ability to operate both strategically and tactically in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and cross-functional partnership skills.
